De wereld in foto's - The world in photos

Flanders-inside-jan2007-wereldinfotos

On the train a woman is voodoo-dancing on a page of the train-newspaper.

On the train station square of Bruges Chinese faces are turning around on a wind-mill.

In the chapel of the ex-convent in Melsele Flemings are emigrating to Canada on a exhibition.

I see the world in photos.

Continuity Yes, I had sensed the continuity in this series and it is true that ‘the image’ takes a central role in our lives without, often, our realizing the importance.

A lot of people don't even bother to look around them.
Strange, isn't it?

Yes. I think that some immigrants from Europe into Canada and America (Scandinavians) immigrated for better pasteur. They became farmers in Wisconsin, Michigan and Illinois. During the depression, they were self sufficient.

Looks like an interesting exposition.
