Ballonvaart bij zonsondergang - Balloon flight at sun set
Maakte je ooit een ballonvaart ? Ik niet. En heb je Manneken Pis - het kleine ventje dat zo’n grote toeristische attractie is- gezien in foto 4 van het vorige logje ? Zo klein is hij dus.

ballooning Nope, never been in a balloon before, but if all goes well I will be doing so on Saturday + 8 days, together with some HFC buddies. I'm looking forward to that.
I've seen Manneken Pis live, so his size doesn't surprise me. He was made to make men feel good about themself.

Balloon flight looks so romantic, so escapist . . and your image is a fine example with the silhouette just hovering there before the cloudscape. But, no, I’ve not been aloft in one of those.

Ja, dat manneken Pis. Toen ik het voor het eerst zag was ik verbaasd, dat het zo klein was. Maar dat geldt voor de zeemeermin in Kopenhagen ook. Als je ooit de gelegenheid krijgt om ballon te varen, moet je dit met beide handen aanpakken. Het is onbeschrijflijk.

Laat ons hopen dat het morgen (vrijdag) in de avond niet te veel wind is en droog blijft, want dan is er de tweede poging van mijn ballonvaart. De eerste keer, Ik neem alvast de camera mee.
